Now I am back to the daily grind again. To walk the Camino had been a wonderful and very intense experience for me.

We walked about 20 to 25 kilometers a day and it has been even more arduous than I had thought because of all your luggage you had to carry on your back all the way.
It has been challenging for me to restrain to the absolutely necessary things and to leave behind the things less important or too heavy.
But your feet just don't abide a greater burden.
Arriving at the destination of your daily stage you just spend your time with sweet idleness or eating and relaxing. You are totally freed of all the usual problems of everyday life, just living your day.

Spain is a beautiful country and people are very friendly and helpful (especially to the pilgrims).

Too bad we didn't have enough time to walk further. Just as we had found our walking rhythm we had to return back home.

I am new to Q4P and so just discovered your blog. I love your photos -- so beautiful! I felt like I was on your trip with you. The yellow house photo with the flower pots in Tuscany is amazing. And I laughed at your shadow photo because I took one just like it on a beach in California!

Your olive quilt is so lovely. I clicked to enlarge it so I could look more closely -- the quilting is just right for the quilt.

All your travel photos are terrific, thanks for sharing them, but I particularly enjoyed these of the pilgrimage walk.
Your Olive quilt is lovely, did you have difficulty deciding how to quilt it?
