As so often after a great holiday I somehow try to transfer the holiday feeling as long as possible into everyday's life. Since I like to eat Pulled Pork in the US, this time I bought a Crock Pot to be able to cook this dish here as authentically as possible. In such a slow cooker you can also cook a lot of other delicious things. Goulash, chili con carne or Bolognese sauce, generally any stews - cooked really long but at low temperature - turn out extremely tasty and aromatic. Meat dishes and roasts become super tender. No stirring or burning - once filled with all the ingredients the Crocky boils on its own. For me a great new "toy" in my kitchen!
