Bloggers' Quilt Festival



It's time again for the Bloggers' Quilt Festival hosted by Amy of Amy's Creative Side. Here is one of my favorite quilts that I want to show you again on this occasion. I made it for my daughter Linda for her 18th birthday as a remembrance of all the trips we made during her childhood and adolescence, travelling through the Western States of the USA with an RV, visiting National Parks and Rodeos and Indian places and festivals.... So the Kokopelli fabric and those of the "Treasures of the Southwest" collection seemed very appropriate. I am happy to say that she loves the quilt and is using it frequently.

    ein wunderschöner Quilt und eine tolle Erinnerung für deine Tochter an unvergessliche Reisen. Die warmen Farben des Quilts passen besonders gut in diese Jahreszeit!

    Living many years in the southwest, I just love those colors! The quilt is a great mix and the Kokopelli fabric works so well with it all.

    Was für ein wunderschöner SouthWest Quilt !! Kokopelli hat es mir auch sehr angetan - Deine Umsetzung ist toll gelungen. Deine Tochter ist ein Glückspilz, daß sie diesen Quilt ihr eigen nennen darf!

    Love it! The borders strips that point to Kokopelli really set off the whole quilt. Love the colors.

    Wonderful quilt. It's amazing how many different color combinations people come up with. Some not what i'd pick but then after seeing them i think i'd like to try that, too, so glad your daughter has this lovely quilt to enjoy. Thanks for sharing and have a great day
