Arwen and Aragorn

Im vorletzten Monat des HdR-BoMs gab es wieder drei schöne Blöcke: Arwens "Abendstern" und Aragorn mit der “Flamme des Westens” Andúril, dem Schwert, das aus Bruchstücken Narsils geschmiedet worden war. Den dritten Block muss ich noch nähen, wenn die Weihnachtsvorbereitungen mir Zeit lassen.

It's the next to last month of the LotR-BoM with three more lovely blocks: Arwen's "Evenstar" and Aragorn with Andúril, the "Flame of the West" reforged from the broken pieces of Narsil. I didn't have time to sew the third block yet as I am in the middle of Christmas preparations.

Drachenbäume, Vulkane und schwarze Strände

Bevor hier endgültig die Zeit der kalten und dunklen Tage anbricht, sind wir nochmal in die Wärme geflogen und haben einen schönen und entspannten Urlaub auf Teneriffa verbracht. Eine wunderschöne Insel, jedoch für meinen Geschmack viel zu sehr von Deutschen vereinnahmt.

Before the cold and dark days finally take over here, we have flown into the warmth and spent a pleasant and relaxing holiday in Tenerife. A beautiful island, but for my taste far too much overcrowded by Germans.

 genannt und die Anleitung steht seit heute und nur in diesem Monat exklusiv allen Gildemitgliedern im Mitgliederbereich der Gilde-Homepage zum freien Download zur Verfügung.

Each month there is a free tutorial for a mini quilt to download for members of the German Patchwork Guild.

I designed the quilt for November. It is called

“Music Makes Life Colorful”

 and the sewing instructions and patterns are available exclusively for guild members from now on until the end of November on the guild’s homepage.
