almost like birthday...

Today the ATCs from the "Travel Postcard ATC"-swap arrived and I am really happy with them. Mine almost didn't make it in time for the swap if not for Steph's husband who mailed them to the place where Steph was staying for the swap when my cards finally arrived. The duration for letters to get to and from the States is unpredictable. Sometimes they arrive within 3 or 4 days, another time it may take 3 or 4 weeks to send them over the pond....

Heute sind meine ATCs aus dem "Travel Postcard ATC"-Swap angekommen und ich bin höchst zufrieden damit :-)) Meine Kärtchen wären ja fast nicht rechtzeitig zum Swap angekommen, denn Steph war bereits zu Diane aufgebrochen, wo sie den Tausch durchführen wollte, als sie endlich ankamen. Stephs Mann hat sie ihr aber netterweise hinterhergeschickt, sodass sie dann doch noch mitgetauscht werden konnten. Die Postlaufzeiten zwischen Deutschland und den Staaten schwanken unglaublich. Mal braucht ein Brief nur 3 oder 4 Tage, dann wieder 3 oder 4 Wochen....
